Born in Uganda, Hiren and his family fled political dictatorship to build a new life in America. Arriving in 1984, he embraced the promise of the American Dream with grit and determination—earning a degree in electrical engineering and computer science, rising through Fortune 500 corporate ranks, and eventually founding a thriving small business in Roselle’s real estate and construction sector. For 24 years, Roselle has been more than a hometown to Hiren; it’s where he and his wife raised their three children, and invested in the community’s future. His journey—from refugee to trusted local leader—is a testament to the power of hard work, integrity, and service.As your neighbor, Hiren understands what makes Roselle special: safe streets, thriving local businesses, and a government that works for families, not political agendas. For over a decade, he’s served Roselle directly as Planning & Zoning Chairman and Commissioner, where he streamlined permits for small businesses, championed smart growth, and cut bureaucratic red tape. Now, he’s running for Trustee to bring that same no-nonsense, results-driven leadership to the entire village.
